ABOUT ME...

A SCIENTIST with a passion for MICROSCOPYART

I am a Research Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Health with > 10 years of experience in STEM CELLS & DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY. One of my favorite places to be is at the microscope where I capture images of living systems in order to better understand how they function.

I also use these images to create microscopy-based "Sci-Art". By juxtaposing everyday scenes & objects alongside unfamiliar scientific matters, I hope to arouse intrigue & inspire people to understand what they are looking at with the aim of attracting a broader audience to think about & discuss science.

On this site you will find:

- my Sci-Art images

- some development-related educational content

- protocols to stain cells & mouse embryos
